Product Description
Pentoxifylline is a, commonly used, off-label (extra-label) medication in veterinary medicine, primarily in dogs and horses, acting as a hemorrheologic (blood viscosity reducer) and immunomodulatory agent. It works by increasing red blood cell flexibility, reducing blood thickness, and inhibiting tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-alpha), which decreases inflammation and improves blood flow (microcirculation) to damaged tissues.
