Product Description
Optimmune Ophthalmic Ointment (cyclosporine) is indicated for the management of chronic keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) and chronic superficial keratitis (CSK) in dogs. This medication is a preservative-free ointment that helps reduce the likelihood of chemical irritation and secondary infections.
Additional information:
- Used 2 times daily when administered topically
- use proper administration techniques to avoid contamination of the medication
- Keep cap tightly closed when not in use
- Wait 5-10 minutes after applying this medication before applying any other medications to the eye
Storage/Stability:
- The ophthalmic ointment (Optimmune) should be stored in the refrigerator or at controlled room temperature away from moisture and sunlight
