Product Description
Clintabs (clindamycin hydrochloride) Tablets are indicated for the treatment of soft tissue infections (wounds and abscesses), dental infections and osteomyelitis caused by susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus; and for the treatment of soft tissue infections (deep wounds and abscesses), dental infections and osteomyelitis caused by or associated with susceptible strains of Bacteroides fragilis, Bacteroides melaninogenicus, Fusobacterium necrophorum and Clostridium perfringens. Easy-to-swallow tablet form for oral use in dogs.
Additional information:
- May give with or without food, but do not "dry pill" or it may cause throat burns. Give a small amount of food or a small bit of water (little over a teaspoonful) after pilling.
- Very bitter taste; may require disguising in food to get animal to take it.
- Report any severe, prolonged, or bloody vomiting or diarrhea to your veterinarian.
Storage/Stability:
Store at controlled room temperatures between 68° - 77°F.
