Product Description
Chlorpheniramine maleate is a first-generation antihistamine used to manage allergies such as sneezing, itchy eyes, itchy throat, and runny nose. It can also be used for other conditions such as drug-induced extrapyramidal side effects in a dog, cough suppression, and atopy.
Additional information:
- Antihistamines work better if given before exposure to an allergen
- Drowsiness can occur with this medication, but this effect will usually lessen with time. Cats sometimes become excited after getting it.
- May be difficult to give cats due to the bitter taste.
