Product Description
Cefpodoxime is an antibiotic medication that is prescribed for dogs to treat bacterial skin infections including wounds and abscesses, as well as bladder and respiratory infections.
Additional information:
- Can be given with or without food, but gastrointestinal side effects might be prevented if given with food
- Most common side effects are diarrhea, vomiting, and loss of appetite
- Be sure to give as long as veterinarian has prescribed, even if your animal seems better.
- Cephalosporin antibiotics have an odor that resembles cat urine, but this is normal.
Storage/Stability:
- Tablets should be stored at room temperature in well-closed containers.
