Product Description
Adequan Canine (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan [PSGAG] solution, 100 mg/mL) is recommended for intramuscular injection for the control of signs associated with non-infectious degenerative and/or traumatic arthritis of canine synovial joints.
Additional information:
- The IA product must be administered by a veterinary professionals; the IM product could, with proper instruction, be administered by the owner
- Once administered the medication takes 2 hours to reach the joint; however improvement may be seen within 2 to 4 weeks after initial treatment
Storage/Stability: Store
- Store at 68° - 77°F. Excursions permitted to 59° - 86°F
- The manufacturer recommends discarding any unused portion from the vial or ampule
